Map Change When?

City Eight has had a multitude of issues relating to various factions (except conscripts, they're thriving well with Outlands).

-Citizen RP has essentially died
-Rebel RP has essentially died with the map's poor design
-MPF is boring to play with very little citizens around and rebels too separated from the city to do anything
-Conscripts are the only thing worth to play now

Everything is unbalanced and the population has decreased greatly. The Holidays can be a factor but for me personally it has been a bore to play on compared to I17. This thread is beating a dead horse but when is the next expected map change? New players coming in are getting a horrendous impression of the server.

Not sure if that's due to the map or just holidays ect. But server population has been decreasing on some occasions, I suggest someone takes a look into this issue.

The team is looking into it, and we'll be discussing strategies in the upcoming meeting. Any decisions will most likely be made public via the announcements

We hit a pop of around 40 today. That's fairly normal, but there was still no RP to be had for anyone who wasn't a conscript or outlands dwelling rebel.

entire pop on one faction is not good, number doesn't really matter. if you remove one faction we had a pop of like 20. even with the huge amount of conscripts that were on the population was still unusually low compared to the rest of the week

It has a centralized plaza for basic stuff, but also some cool side areas and plenty of apartments for D1. There are two rundown, surface level D2-type zones which are connected by tunnels. Lots of cool underground areas. Looks like it would be lots of fun for RebelRP, as well as D1 RP. Conscripts could be based in one of the surface-level slum zones, since rebels would still have plenty of breathing room with their underground areas.

say that only Industrial got fucked up and the rest of the city sectors are mostly fine

you can do a bunch of things

the lore became fucking stupid anyway

ok just say its city 15 or something. or just say its another district of city 17 considering the whole thing didnt get destroyed. gonna kill the server over lore lol.

I honestly have no motivation to come onto the server. I don't want to learn the confusing new map (normally I love exploring new maps but C8 is a literal maze) and since I main MPF I'm deff not exicted to get on and have nothing to RP since rebels are all in the outlands and have no reason to come to D1/Sewers area except if Conscripts push them out.

We need a map that has a centralized theme that encourges people to stick together so that RP flows into itself between Factions.

Interestingly we have used this map before.

It was I17.
The problem is that there /does/ need to be a map change every once and awhile so people can stretch their legs. I have nothing against i17 and would love to return some day, but I'm so tired of it and need a break. But C8 is not that map.
